Sor: Appel des nègres aux français

Sor’s Appel des nègres aux français is a song for bass voice and guitar, in march tempo, against slavery and in favour of freeing slaves. It is of very great interest not only because of the music, but because of Sor’s involvement, through it, in the process of the abolition of slavery. It was published in Paris in about 1832.

This edition is re-engraved, not facsimile.
